Alfies Cafe

Really pleased coming here! Other than everything being a little steeply priced (understandable given the area) I really liked it. Very nice, comfortable seating with couches in centre of cafe. Lovely high ceilings and lots of windows made it feel light and airy inside. The open kitchen was cool to see staff make your food. Staff were friendly. Coffee was fine, Belgian waffles were SUPERB. Will definitely be coming back to try more menu items.

I'd been here before, and all was ok. Today, the staff forgot my cake order. I had to ask twice more for it, my teapot fell to bits, and I'd asked for extra hot water instead of milk..never got it. It wasn't too busy. The staff were nice and apologetic.

Was our first time dining here. Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. The wait time wasn’t too long considering the amount of customers. We both enjoyed our food and would dine here again. The only reason I wouldn’t rate it 5 stars is that I felt the prices were a little steep.

We had a lovely brunch. The food was well cooked and tasty. I had eggs Beni I loved the hollandaise! There were 2 minor downers. We felt the wait was a few minutes too long for our food. I had a Latte, it was a too hot for my liking. But still an enjoyable experience and I will be back!
